Short description of the organization

InSoC promotes , implements and upgrades the social values –democracy, rule of law, human rights and human capital by using an approach that is based on direct involvement and direct connection with human rights, social upgrade, strengthening the individuals and groups and their participation in the work and equal opportunities, with a special focus on vulnerable groups, especially Roma.

Constituents

Roma – persons at social risk, children, students, unemployed, persons without personal documents, social welfare beneficiaries.

CSO representatives – activists who work on contributing to social involvement of marginalized groups in the society.

Administrative and public servants – employees at the ministries, agencies, directorates, municipalities, health care institutions, schools, kindergartens, and everybody who conducts activities related to public policies and inclusion of Roma in the society.

Results

  • Dedicated and recognizable engagement directed to Roma community;
  • A transparent and accountable organization with developed standards for working in the civil sector;
  • A defined strategic approach to increase civic engagement in the society for the period of 2020-2025;
  • Increased action and operational capacity for implementing actions in the society, organization, transparency, accountability and functionality of the management and decision making structures;
  • Increased accountability and transparency to constituents and society as a whole;
  • Carrier and active stakeholder in organizing the CSOs to protect the rights of the people who are excluded from society;
  • Carrier and active stakeholder in organizing the CSOs to establish a mechanism for communication with the government to increase the possibilities for activities in Roma communities;
  • A recognizable, active, dedicated team that has evidence-based data on the preparations of the 2021-2025 Roma Strategy in the Republic of North Macedonia;
  • Participation in the planning of support and implementation of actions and projects that will be implemented in the Roma community;
  • Participates in public policy planning on Roma;
  • Contribution to the development of enabling environment for the actions of the civil sector that works on resolving the challenges in the Roma community;
  • Active participation and contribution to civil society reforms;
  • Increased cooperation with the state institutions to support and create policies related to Roma.
