Short description of the organization

Forum – Center for Strategic Research and Documentation (Forum CSRD) is an organization established in order to be involved in the development of democracy, support to human rights and inter-ethnic relations and help in the creation of the national policies in all areas of social life and creating conditions for Euro-Atlantic integration. The Center promotes substantiated and implementable public policies offers support to the communities and helps the reforms in various public service areas.

Constituents

Local and urban communities, youth, local self-government units, local CSOs, academic community, political parties.

Results

  • Preparation of strategies for cooperation with the civil sector in the local self-government units;
  • Published analysis/study on the cooperation and support of CSOs by the local self-government units;
  • Preparation of a 2021-2025 Forum CSRD development strategy;
  • Volunteers engaged in Forum CSRD;
  • Established CSO network for reform and development of the local and neighbourhood self-government;
  • Training for research and advocacy implemented;
  • Conducted research for the state of affairs of the civic participation in practising direct participation in decision making at the local level and prepared policy document.
