Short description of the organization

“All for Fair Trials” Coalition consists of citizen associations from RSM which are its members on a voluntary basis in order to follow court proceedings before respective courts in the country. The goal is to contribute to providing the guaranteed rights to fair trial as set in the constitution, laws and ratified international treaties, increase the public awareness and contribute to increasing the trust of the citizens in the institutions of the system, indicate the need and work on the possible reforms in the court procedures, increase the practical knowledge of law students, strengthen the role and capacities of the NGOs etc.

The Coalition also stands for equal access to justice for all citizens of RNM.

The vision of the Coalition is to be a powerful and stable organization, a driving force and partner to the institutions of the system, elevating RNM as a country where the human rights and freedoms will be fully respected, with special emphasis on the fair trial standards as an elementary condition for its integration in the European Union.

Its mission is to monitor the respect of human rights and freedoms, particularly the implementation of the international standards for fair trial through various forms of acting and the intent to increase the level of their implementation by initiating institutional and legal reforms, recovering citizens’ trust in the judiciary and in the other institutions of the system.

Constituents

Judges, public prosecutors, lawyers, university professors, young lawyers, citizens, general public.

Results

  • Increased capacities of the Executive Office to research, analyze and advocate;
  • Increased participation and inclusion of the constituents/members in the work of the Coalition.
