ART EXHIBITION “ECO PERSPECTIVES FOR PRILEP” FOR THE THIRD #GREENFRIDAY

As part of the #GreenFriday initiative, the art exhibition “Eco Perspectives for Prilep” was held, as part of the third consecutive monthly #GreenFriday action, dedicated to raising environmental awareness and encouraging active dialogue in the community.

The exhibition presented the artworks of young participants from Prilep, created during an educational art workshop held in November 2025, as part of the November #GreenFriday. Through art, young people expressed their views, concerns and visions related to environmental challenges and the future of the environment in Prilep.

The event was attended by young people who were part of the art workshop, the eco-ambassadors and the association’s team, local eco-activists, as well as representatives from the Municipality of Prilep and the Public Utility Company Komunalets Prilep.
As a symbolic act of sharing a common vision and responsibility, some of the artworks were donated to institutions working in the field of the environment at the local level. This gesture aims to encourage further cooperation and joint environmental actions over the coming year.

The event took the form of a pre-New Year networking meeting, sending a message that caring for the environment is a shared responsibility and that it is through partnerships and active involvement that sustainable changes can be created in the local community.

*The activity is within the framework of the project “Eco Initiative: Citizens and Local Authorities in Action for Environmental Protection!”, implemented by the STANICA PET Association, within the framework of the sub-granting program of the project “Good Governance in the Environment of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans”, implemented by the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, the Macedonian Association of Young Lawyers and Front 21/42, and is financially supported by the European Union.
