Co-financing activities MKSAFENET

On 22 January in Skopje, at the premises of the Personal Data Protection Agency (PDPA), a certified training for teachers was successfully delivered, building on the previously implemented school activities under the initiative “Call for Schools – Be Safe Online.”

🎯 Training focus:
🔹 protection of students’ and staff personal data
🔹 legal obligations and internal policies
🔹 video surveillance in educational institutions
🔹 the role and responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer, and other relevant topics

Participants received personalized certificates issued by the PDPA, while both teachers and students were also awarded certificates of participation by IMPETUS.

This activity marks the successful completion of an important cycle of collaboration between schools, institutions, and civil society, with a shared goal of strengthening digital safety and raising awareness on privacy protection among young people.

We express our gratitude to the Personal Data Protection Agency and to all participating teachers for their professionalism and commitment.

The activity was implemented within the MKSafeNet project, in cooperation with IMPETUS – Center for Internet, Development and Good Governance, which fully covered the participation costs for teachers. This enabled direct access to expert knowledge, practical guidance, and certification, without additional financial burden for the schools.
