OPEN CALL FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF TWO EXTERNAL CONSULTANTS TO SUPPORT THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL STAFF

Project: Strengthening the Inclusion of Children with SEN

The Macedonian Civic Education Center – MCEC Skopje announces a public call for the selection of two external consultants with expertise in the field of inclusive education, who will prepare and implement a long-term professional development program based on practical work.

A modular program and a package of training materials need to be developed for the application of inclusive pedagogy, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and the use of assistive technology (AT), as well as for integrating Child Rights Education (CRE) and Intercultural Education (ICE) into the teaching process for the training of a total of 96 participants who are representatives of school inclusion teams (SITs) and teaching staff from the 24 schools included in the project. In addition to the modular program and package of training materials, mentoring visits to the project schools will also be carried out after the completion of the trainings.

The activity is part of the project “Strengthening the Inclusion of Children with Special Educational Needs,” implemented by the Macedonian Civic Education Center – MCEC Skopje, with financial support from the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation from Switzerland.

Timeline for the public call

  • Publication of the call: 14.08.2026
  • Application deadline: 24.08.2026 until 17:00
  • Submission of questions via email: until 20.08.2026, 17:00
  • Notification of the selection: 31.08.2026
  • Development of a modular program and training materials package: 12 working days from notification of the selection
  • Implementation of the trainings: second half of September – beginning of October 2026
  • School visits: October – 15 December 2026
