Cid academy 1080x675

Call for participants – CID Academy

Project dates: August 2026 – June – 2027

Working language: Macedonian and Albanian

Deadline for applying: 30.08.2026

About the project

Are you ready to meet new people, develop new skills and turn your ideas into actions in your community?

CID Academy is a space where young people from different communities come together to learn, connect and take action.

Through interactive activities and non-formal education, you will explore topics such as intercultural dialogue, human rights, social inclusion, equality and youth participation. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas, learn from others and develop the skills you need to become more active in your community.

Most importantly, CID Academy is not only about learning – you will get the chance to put what you learn into practice and create your own youth initiatives.

Project activities

As part of the new CID Academy generation, you will take part in a complete learning and action programme:

6 one-day workshops

We will start with interactive workshops at the MultiКулти Youth Center, where you will explore:

  • Intercultural dialogue
  • Social inclusion
  • Human rights

Expect group work, discussions, games, creative activities and plenty of space to express your opinion.

🌱 4-day training

Time to go one step further!

During the training, you will get to know the group better, explore intercultural communication, human rights and social inclusion, and develop skills for participating more actively in your community.

3-day thematic training

This training will be shaped around your needs and interests.

Together, we will explore the topics that matter to the group and start turning what you have learned into ideas for activities and initiatives that can bring people together and make your community stronger.

Mentorship programme

You won’t be doing this alone!

You will be supported by young mentors who have previously been part of CID Academy. Through regular meetings, they will help you develop your ideas, work with your team and prepare your initiatives.

Youth-led initiatives

Now it’s your turn to take action!

Together with other participants, you will design and implement youth initiatives related to intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, equality and civic engagement.

You bring the ideas – CID and your mentors will help you make them happen.

Intercultural Festival

We finish the journey by celebrating what we have created!

At the Intercultural Festival in Kumanovo, you will have the opportunity to present your initiatives and experiences to the wider community through creative activities, music and other content promoting diversity and intercultural dialogue.
