Joint Achievements in Civica Mobilitas in 2025
The year that we have left behind is a year of joint efforts, ideas and activities with which we have created space for dialogue, participation and solidarity. Together we have contributed that the citizens are louder, more active and more involved, because we believe in a civil society that is dynamic, responsible and important for the development and quality of life of all citizens.
At the same time, we have remained true to our role – to monitor, indicate, advocate and offer alternative solutions with respect to policies and practices of the institutions and private sector, always led by the public interest.
In the coming year, let us continue to strengthen the civil society, deepen mutual cooperation and increase our joint impact where it is most necessary.
With honest wishes for good health, happy and successful new year, we remind you of some of our joint achievements.
In the course of the year, one of Civica Mobilitas biggest events – the Networking Meeting has united more than 80 representatives of 65 CSOs. The event provided an open and joint discussion about the key challenges and priorities at local level, especially in the context of the local elections held in October 2025.
The meeting resulted in formulating joint proposals for the programmes of the candidates for mayors and initiated the process of re-establishing the Civic Platform, as a mechanism for uniting an coordinated action of the civil society. The proposals were based on experience and priorities identified by the organizations in their local communities and aimed to improve the transparency, accountability, civic participation and quality of public services. This activity additionally strengthened the role of the CSOs as a significant partner for the local authorities in the processes of advocacy and public policy creation.
Civica Mobilitas has submitted these proposals to the candidates for mayors and municipal council members at 2025 local elections. Led by the belief that the improvements of the quality of life of the citizens is a joint interest, CSOs will continue to work as correctors, supporters and active stakeholders in the processes of social changes.
