CONSTITUENTS
Direct constituents: 100 young people (4 groups times 25 participants) aged 16-19 of both sexes, with different socio-economic background and different ethnic and religious affiliation, students at “D-r Panche Karagjozov” medical high school.
Indirect constituents: beneficiaries of the Children’s Clinic and “ZHANA-S” Elderly Home, “11 October” children’s home and the broader community as surrounding of the above-mentioned beneficiaries.
ON THE PORJECT SUPPORTED BY CIVICA MOBILITAS
Encouraging social responsibility with the young people via volunteering activities.
BACKGROUND
Obtaining informal education of the young which will be used to implement volunteer activities, thus controbuting to improvement of the quality of life at local level, obtaining positive social values.
When the direct target group will be established, the stress will be on gender representation.
GOALS AND RESULTS
Goal:
Stimulating social responsibility with the young by active and quality usage of their free time and their involvement in volunteering activities from the area of culture and art, stressing the cherishing of healthy lifestyle.
Objectives:
Awareness development on consciences and responsible behavior, as well as self-confidence increase.
RESULTS
- Obtained knowledge on the RNM Law on Volunteering;
- Improved communication capacities with the elderly, children with healthy development and sick child and children without parents;
- Stimulated positive social values;
- Developed awareness about conscious and responsible behavior and increased self-confidence;
- Proper and useful organization of one’s free time and healthy lifestyle;
- Proper growth and development and building healthy personas with stable moral values;
- Intercepting the needs of the community and strengthening one’s relations with it;
- Obtained volunteering work experience, promoted positive volunteering practices, as well as their significance.
ACTIVITIES
For all 4 groups with 25 participants each, there will be:
- 12 theoretical seminars;
- 4 workshops;
- 4 preparatory volunteering workshops;
- 4 volunteering activities.
