Implementation of “Islands of Integrity” to Begin in September

Preparations for designing the “Islands of Integrity” training, led by external expert Ana Vasilache from Romania, are nearing completion. These preparations began in May 2024 and were finalised during a workshop held on 18th and 19th June 2024 in Skopje.

This training, intended for Civica Mobilitas grantees, is part of a broader capacity-building plan for civil society organisations. It is based on a proven methodology aimed at strengthening personal integrity, offering practical tools for collaborative leadership, and suggesting systemic and organisational changes to counter corruption.

The methodology has been successfully implemented in previous years across several European countries by certified anti-corruption experts. In addition to Vasilache, four other Civica Mobilitas collaborators from Macedonia will participate in delivering the training.

The first cycle will select 12 civil society organisations to undergo four workshops from September to November 2024. Civica Mobilitas plans to repeat the cycle for organisations not included in the first group.
