Open Call: Share Your Story

Have you ever felt that your rights were not respected?

Everyone has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and equality. Unfortunately, many young people experience situations where their human rights are ignored, limited or denied.

We invite you to anonymously share your personal story about a moment when you felt your rights were violated or when you witnessed someone else’s rights being denied. Your experience can help raise awareness, encourage dialogue and inspire positive change.

Selected stories will be used as part of an online awareness campaign promoting human rights and respect for everyone. Personal information will not be published without your explicit consent, and stories may be edited only to protect anonymity and improve readability.

Who can apply?

Young people who would like to share a personal experience related to human rights.

What kind of stories are we looking for?

Your story can be about any situation where you experienced or witnessed:

  • Discrimination or unequal treatment
  • Bullying or harassment
  • Exclusion because of your identity
  • Hate speech
  • Denial of equal opportunities
  • Any other situation where you felt your human rights were not respected

Every story matters. By sharing your experience, you can help others feel less alone and contribute to building a more inclusive and respectful community.

Share your story by completing the online form here.

This campaign is being created within the framework of the project “Promoting Youth Activism in Multiethnic Communities,” supported by the National Endowment for Democracy.
