Dissemination of the project “Civil Education for Democratic Resilience
During the project “Civil Education for Democratic Resilience”, we had the opportunity to learn more about democracy, civil education and the role of young people in society. One of the main topics was the European Union and the opportunities it offers to young people, especially in the fields of education, mobility, volunteering and youth participation.
During the project, we participated in different workshops and activities, such as “Mapping National Realities”, where we compared the situation in our countries and learned about different perspectives and challenges. We also explored civil engagement and participation, discussing how young people can become more active in their communities and have an influence on decisions that affect them.
Another important part of the project was “Youth-led Initiative”, where we learned how young people can turn their ideas into concrete actions and create positive changes in their communities.
We also had the opportunity to visit the Mayor of Cumpăna, Romania, where we learned more about the local community, the work of local authorities and the importance of cooperation between young people and decision-makers.
After returning home, I wanted to share what I learned with other young people. I talked with friends and people from my local community about EU opportunities, youth participation, volunteering and the importance of being informed and active citizens. I also shared some of the activities and ideas from the project with them and encouraged them to take part in similar opportunities.
This project helped me become more confident in expressing my opinions, communicating with people from different countries and understanding how young people can contribute to a stronger and more democratic society.
