Metamorphosis Director Bardhyl Jashari awarded order on behalf of President Macron

As stated by the French Embassy, this order pays tribute to Jashari’s exceptional commitment to democratic values, which he has tirelessly promoted since 2005 through the “Metamorphosis” Foundation.

On behalf of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, the French Ambassador to North Macedonia, Christophe Le Rigoleur, presented the Knight of the National Order of Merit to the Executive Director of the Metamorphosis Foundation, Bardhyl Jashari.

As stated by the French Embassy, ​​this award pays tribute to Jashari’s exceptional dedication to democratic values, which he has tirelessly promoted since 2005 through the establishment of the Metamorphosis Foundation.

“The fight against disinformation and the commitment to coexistence represent the two pillars of his work. We extend our sincere congratulations to Mr. Bardhyl Jashari for this prestigious award, which recognizes his exemplary path to date and his essential role in strengthening European democratic values ​​in North Macedonia,” the Embassy said in a statement.

Jashari sincerely thanked the Republic of France, His Excellency the Ambassador of France in Skopje, as well as everyone with whom he had the privilege of collaborating over the years.
“I am especially grateful to my colleagues at Metamorphosis, to my friends, and above all to my family. I accept this recognition with gratitude, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility. I thank the Ambassador for his generous words and for the ceremony, which will forever remain in my memory,” said the director of the Metamorphosis Foundation.
