Promotion of 27 new Civica Mobilitas grantees

Switzerland has launched in 2019 a new phase of the Civica Mobilitas programme, a support facility for civil society organizations promoting social change in areas such as civil society environment, civic engagement, collaboration and civil participation.

On 9th of July 2019, Civica Mobilitas organized the first award ceremony in this phase, in which it promoted 27 new grantees – 12 Action and 15 Institutional.

During the award ceremony, the Ambassador, Sybille Suter Tejada, said that the Civica Mobilitas grantees are the core of the programme. “You are the core because you are the main actors, you are shaping and you are contributing to the change of this society”.

The grants awarded to the 27 selected CSOs represent a budget of more than 87 million MKD.

The new phase of Switzerland’s programme Civica Mobilitas, implemented by NIRAS (Denmak), MCIC (North Macedonia) and FCG (Sweden) began in January 2019 and will last until the end of 2022. The total budget of the programme amounts to approximately 6 million Swiss Francs.
