Online event of The Balkan Forum on The Berlin Process, media support by Civil

The online event of The Balkan Forum “European Engagement with the Western Balkans under the Berlin Process: Analyzing progress in 2020-2021” will be broadcasted live on the media platform of Civil on Thursday, June 9, at 14h. The Agenda includes keynote speeches by renowned experts and a presentation of the research activities. Working language is English.

The Balkan Forum organizes an online event presenting a Research focusing on The Berlin Process. The event is taking place on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at 2 PM.

The Research “European Engagement with the Western Balkans under the Berlin Process: Analyzing progress in 2020-2021” is initiated by The Balkan Forum and encompasses the Sofia and Berlin Summits which took place in 2020 and 2021, in addition to proposing a multi-thematic analysis at the regional level.

According to the agenda of the event, Mr. Astrit Istrefi, Executive Director of The Balkan Forum will give a welcoming speech. The first introductory keynote speech will be given by Her Excellency Mimoza Ahmetaj, former Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg, France; the EU, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia and NATO.

The second keynote speech will be given by Mr. Frank Morawietz, Special coordinator for the activities of French-German Youth Office (DFJW/OFAJ) in South-East Europe,  Managing director at the Cross Border Factory.

A presentation of the Civil Society Platform will be provided by Mr. Jules Striffler, Research Officer at The Balkan Forum. The methodology, findings, and recommendations will be provided by Mr. Arsild Tepelija and Mr.  Daniel Prroni.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. The working language of the event is English.

Media support of the event is provided by Civil and its media platform and social media profiles in Macedonian, Albanian and English language.
