“NATYRA” PART OF THE REGIONAL CONFERENCE “LET’S CLEAN THE WESTERN BALKANS” IN DURRËS

From 26 to 29 September 2026, the Union of Ecologists “Natyra” – Struga participated in the regional conference “Let’s Clean the Western Balkans – A Regional Initiative for Environmental Action and Cooperation,” held in Durrës, Albania.

During these days, representatives of environmental organizations and initiatives from across the Western Balkans came together to exchange experiences, discuss shared environmental challenges, and strengthen regional cooperation.

🤝 For Natyra, participation in this conference was an opportunity to present our 30 years of experience and work in North Macedonia, exchange best practices with organizations from across the region, and explore new opportunities for cooperation in environmental protection.

🌱 An important part of the discussions focused on preparations for World Cleanup Day 2027 and opportunities to organize joint environmental actions throughout the Western Balkans.

Four days of discussions, new ideas, shared experiences, and valuable connections – all reinforcing one common message: environmental challenges know no borders and require regional cooperation.

Special thanks go to “Let’s Do It – Ta Pastrojmë Kosovën” and its Executive Director, Mr. Luan Hasanaj, for selecting our organization to be part of this important regional initiative. We greatly appreciate their trust, hospitality, and vision for building bridges of cooperation among environmental organizations across the Western Balkans.
