ART WORKSHOP “ECO PERSPECTIVES FOR PRILEP” FOR THE SECOND #GREENFRIDAY

We celebrated the second #GreenFriday with an art workshop for young people aged 15 to 29, entitled “Eco Perspectives for Prilep”. The workshop was held in our office and brought together creative young participants who expressed their vision for a cleaner and greener community through art.

The event was attended by around thirty young people, each with their own authentic vision and perspective on the environmental challenges in Prilep. Their creative and innovative approaches resulted in diverse artworks that reflect their sensitivity, eco-awareness and desire for positive change in the community.

The photos we have collected together with the eco-ambassadors as part of the project activities were used as inspiration. These visual stories about the natural beauties, but also about the ecological challenges in Prilep and the surrounding area, helped the young people to create strong, authentic and creative works.

All the creations from the workshop will be presented at the New Year’s Eve cocktail exhibition that will be held in December, in anticipation of next December’s #GreenFriday. We believe that the exhibition will be a great opportunity for the public to see how young people see the future of our city – through color, shape, and eco-messages.

The activity is within the framework of the project “Eco Initiative: Citizens and Local Government in Action for Environmental Protection!”, implemented by the STANICA PET Association, within the framework of the sub-granting program of the project “Good Environmental Governance of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans”, implemented by the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, the Macedonian Association of Young Lawyers and Front 21/42, and is financially supported by the European Union.
