This year, the 20th anniversary edition of the e-Society.mk conference is being held along with the celebration of 20 years since the founding of the Metamorphosis Foundation. At the event entitled “Digital transformation for life” we will focus on the ongoing planned and unplanned digital transformation of the society in which we live.

In doing so, we will review the previous efforts of the civil sector and institutions in creating a democratic society in accordance with the constant technological development and readiness for increasingly rapid changes in technology that require a digital transformation of our habits and way of functioning in society.

Specifically, the conference will focus on the following topics:

  • the social responsibility of institutions, as well as the civil and business sectors, in building a digital society that fosters a better life for everyone
  • changes in communication methods and the need for ongoing efforts to achieve a higher level of media literacy and critical thinking
  • constant preparation of citizens to recognize disinformation that is increasingly becoming a security problem

The conference is intended for all citizens who want to engage in thinking and debating these new challenges, are interested in improving their media literacy, and wish to live in a democratic society even after complete digital transformation.

The conference will be attended by experts from the country and the region, as well as international guests and representatives from relevant institutions.
