SHORT DESCRIPTION OF the ORGANIZATION
SCOOP Macedonia is a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization whose goal is to promote, support and encourage investigative journalism. Its goal is to support the journalists in their daily work, help them financially or professionally in promoting investigative journalism in the country and the region, but also worldwide.
CONSTITUENTS
All citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, regardless of their age, nationality, religious beliefs, gender or place of living.
RESULTS
- Professional engagement of at least two journalists who will dedicate themselves to the obligations in the organization at least for the next 24 months;
- Professional engagement of at least one administrative officer;
- Preparing 24 video and/or written investigative stories of various areas;
- Bigger promotion of SCOOP at various events and meetings;
- Strengthening the cooperation of SCOOP with CSOs (including Civica Mobilitas grantees);
- Bigger promotion of the work of SCOOP and CSOs (first of all Civica Mobilitas grantees) in the traditional TV media;
- Bigger promotion of SCOOP work on social media.
