CONSTITUENTS
Constituency of DIGNIFIES WORKER CSO are young people up to 29 years old of various social, cultural and ethnic background.
Public and private sector: municipality of Prilep, high schools, business sector in this municipality.

BACKGROUND
The problem with the labor marker expressed as improperly qualifies works according to its needs would influence the future economic growth also by creating barriers for the enterprises where a gap is created that would make it difficult to fill in the job positions which are in high demand; the dynamics of economy imposes a demand for formal education and additional training. The insufficient number of qualified works in view of the needs, in conditions of pandemics when there is no sufficient supply of workers with appropriate skills is one of the obstacles for the growth of employment rate. According to the data published by the Employment Agency at national level, when it comes to the available hob positions, the employers stated that they had faced certain difficulties when filling them in: lack of sufficient job experience, lack of knowledge and skills to perform the tasks required by the job. Adjusting to the needs of the local community could have a significant effect on the local economic development, and it needs a coordinated approach to promote the educational system and the vocational schools’ curricula to meet the challenges that the companies face, as well as predict the future needs for overcoming the mismatch between the labor demand and the educational system.
GOALS AND RESULTS
Goal: To create decent jobs for the young people by 29 years of age and their active inclusion in the labor market at local level by the employers.
Objectives:
1. Create conditions in the investment policies of the local community, development of enterprises, education and active policies at the labor market by the municipality;
2. Increase the awareness on the advantages and challenges of the social entrepreneurship with young people from the vocational schools.
RESULTS
- Increased capacities of the Economic Council of the municipality of Prilep;
- Two workshops on career counselling with at least 50 students of the five high schools in the municipality of Prilep;
- Promotion material prepared and distributed to the constituency;
- Manual prepared and distributed to the constituency.
ACTIVITIES
- Organizing two capacity strengthening workshops for the Economic Council of the Municipality of Prilep;
- Organizing two career counselling workshops;
- Preparation of promotion material (poster, flier, etc.);
- Preparing a Manual on career counselling and social entrepreneurship.
