CONSTITUENTS
The target group are the employer organizations and chambers of commerce, the Economic-Social Council, CSOS working in the area of economy, accountants and lawyer officers, as well as state institutions in charge of implementing policies that pertain to economy.
The institutions that are crucial for decreasing the bureaucratic burden.

TOWARDS DECREASING THE BREAUCRATIC BURDEN
BACKGROUND
The action will stimulate an analysis of the regulations that should determine the bureaucratic burden created by the laws and imposed to the business community in the sense of time, but also expenses.
Via the implemented activities, specific proposals for decreasing the bureaucratic burden to companies will be given, which will contribute to improving the business environment in Macedonia and increased cooperation with the institutions in charge in identifying the key weaknesses in the implementation of laws and policies.
GOALS AND RESULTS
Goal: Contribution to promoting the business environment
Objective: Contribution to decreasing the bureaucratic burden on the companies and stimulating reforms in that direction.
RESULTS
- Established Index for Bureaucratic Burden in Macedonia
- Prepared plan of measures and activities to decrease the bureaucratic burden of companies
ACTIVITIES
- Technical support and exchange of knowledge with the Institute for Economic and Social Studies;
- Analysis of the legal regulations in the areas that are used to calculate the Index;
- Interviews to calculate the burden in each individual area;
- Consultations about the obtained results with the stakeholders;
- Report on the bureaucratic burden in Macedonia and comparative overview with at least two EU member countries
- Promotion of the report and presentation before the institutions in charge;
- Consultations for measures to decrease the burden for the companies;
- Action Plan for intervention and decreasing the bureaucratic burden;
- Presentation of an action plan and submitting an initiative for its adoption by the institutions in charge.
