“Local Multiculturalism Networks”
Background for the Action
Despite many actions implemented in the Polog region, whose goal was to improve the interethnic cohabitation, today we still have a polarized world on an ethnic basis, non-functional Committees for Relations between the Communities without the support of the local self-government, divided schools, social distance and ad-hoc activities of CSOs on this issue. The key and unavoidable stakeholder in the democratic world is the involvement of CSOs in the processes of planning and implementation of local policies.
GOALS AND RESULTS
Goal: Improved local and regional multicultural context represented by inter-sectoral networks initiated by strong local CSOs.
