THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE THIRD PHASE OF CIVICAL MOBILITAS STARTED

At the beginning of 2019, the new, third phase of Civica Mobilitas started to be implemented. It will last for four years and it will continue to serve the CSOs and other civil society stakeholders in achieving significant social changes.

The programme is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and it will continue to be implemented by NIRAS from Denmark, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) and FCG from Sweden.

The programme will contribute to improvement of the enabling environment by creating mechanisms for cooperation between the CSOs and authorities; it will help the organizations to build strong relations with their constituencies; it will influence that the cooperation among the organizations grow into long-term and sustainable partnerships and networks; and it will also contribute to increased civil participation in decision making, which leads to better policies and practices.

These results will be achieved by Civica Mobilitas with several methods: financial support to CSos by grants (institutional, action and small grants); discussions and networking at more than 20 forums and networking events, direct mentorship support and event facilitation; capacity strengthening via 20 workshops and trainings; informing via quarterly electronic newsletters and more than 100 stories.

The programme budget is about 5.9 million Swiss franks, 3.7 of which are for grants.
