Seven New Small Grants Awarded to CSOs
The grant selection commission assessed the concepts that the organization submitted at the Civica Mobilitas call for small action grants (CM-MAK-02) in the period of 1 July to 30 September 2021.
There were 41 applications submitted, seven of which were awarded small grants:
- ODS Organization for Housing and Residents with the project The Young and Housing Right;
- RUBIKON CSO Skopje with the project Support to Children in Conflict with Law;
- Association – National Council for Gender Euqality with the project Strong Women’s Organizations, Strong Municipality, Strong Society;
- Small and Medium Enterprise Development Foundation Kumanovo with the project ECO DRON PATROL (Eco Patrol with an Unmanned Vehicle) – Digital + Green Transformation;
- ANGELCUTS SANCTUARY with the project Via Civil Activism to Systemic Solutions for the Homeless Cats;
- Association for Support, Integration and Resocialization of People at Social Risk – CSI LINK – Skopje with the project Mapping, Counselling and Forwarding People with Social Risk;
- Mountaineering Sport Club KAB STRUGA СТРУГА 2017 with the project Let US Preserve the Pearl of Ohrid Lake.
The new grantees will be active in the sectors of children, youth and students, environment and natural resources, gender issues and good governance. The actions will take place in the period of four to six months, and only one lasts for ten months.
The selected organizations are from the Skopje, Southwest and Northeast regions in RN Macedonia, and they will be active in local, regional and national level.
The total Civica Mobilitas support to these small action grants is MKD 2,217,000.
