MENTORSHIP SUPPORT HAS STRENGTHENED THE CAPACITIES OF THE ORGANIZATIONS

Redefining the goals and strategies of the CSOs, preparing plans for organizational development, improving the team work, etc. are part of the experience that was shared by the representatives of 11 Civica Mobilitas institutional grantees at the closing event of the program Mentorship Support to CSOs. Held on 22 June 2021.

“Together with the team and the mentor, we have managed to project the future activities and issues that we would not have seen unless we had worked together, i.e. with someone to guide us through the entire process. Additionally, via the mentorship for organizational development we have discovered huge potential within our organization that we did not know existed”, said Jasmina Golubovska, project coordinator in Legis association.

During the workshop, there was a survey conducted on mentorship support. The CSO representatives assessed their satisfaction with high 4.8 on the scale from 1 to 5.

The marks were almost equally high for the mentors who had constantly worked with the organizations on their improvement in various areas.

“For us, during the pandemics, it was a real challenge to connect the dots among our target groups and the situation in which we were, but we have managed. Our mentor Ljupka made us feel new energy which motivated us and brought a dose of excitement”, stressed Maja Babik, member of the Executive Board of BORKA Association for Fighting Cancer.

When asked How useful the Mentorship for Organizational Development program was for your organization, the participants unanimously responded: “very useful”, and the cooperation was stressed as one of the more important benefits of the process.
