Call for proposals for Ad Hoc Grants [CM-ADH-02]

Civica Mobilitas announces a call for proposals for Ad Hoc Grants [CM-ADH-02] supporting urgent actions by the CSOs in their efforts to minimize the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to be eligible for an Ad Hoc Grant under this Call, the applicant must be a CSO registered in North Macedonia under the Law on Associations and Foundations. Applicants may also collaborate with other CSO partners.

Overall Objective – To support North Macedonia to stop the spread of the Coronavirus and help mitigating its consequences for its citizens, with emphasis on the most vulnerable ones.;

Specific Objective – To support CSOs to respond to the citizens’ rights and needs, with emphasis on the most vulnerable ones, in order to minimize the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the state of emergency in the country.

The proposed actions should contribute to achieving some of the following results:

  • Better coordination of CSOs for effective humanitarian and voluntary activities;
  • An informed public, and above all the specific target groups for the measures and recommendations of the state institutions in the state of emergency;
  • Provided humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable at the local level;
  • Provided legal aid, psychological assistance, and safety advice for most vulnerable groups.

The call consists of Guideline for applicants, Concept Note Form, and Budget annex.

The duration of an action may not be longer than 3 months.

Grants shall be between 50.000 MKD and 100.000 MKD per Ad Hoc Grant. The amount made available under this Call for Proposals is around 500.000 MKD (with the possibility to be increased to 1.000.000 MKD).

The first deadline for the submission of Concept Notes is 15 April 2020 (Wednesday) by 12 hours. Out of all submitted applications, the selection will be made for up to 500,000 MKD of the available budget.

Further applications (Concept Notes) may be submitted after 15 of April, until 30 of April 2020 and will be evaluated on an ongoing basis.
