CONSTITUENTS

CSOs are the main target group of the project, especially those that do not have access to conventional donors.

Constituents are also the social entrepreneurs, media and media workers, as well as the citizens from socially vulnerable categories.

MAKE IT EASY – ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FIRST CROWDFUNDING PLATFORM FOR CIVIC INITIATIVES IN NORTH MACEDONIA

BACKGROUND

The action is based on the belief that enabling simple donation tools according to the click-to-donate principle which would save time, energy and resources to the donation collectors, and make the process of donating easier for the potential donors by making them believe the credibility of the system, could mean a major step in building a culture of donating in North Macedonia.

GOALS AND RESULTS

Goal: Improve the culture of donating in North Macedonia.

Objectives: Create practical tools to increase the scope of donations in the socially relevant innovative projects in North Macedonia.

RESULTS

  • Created self-sustainable on-line crowdfunding platform for CSOs, individuals and social entrepreneurs;
  • Increased financing by private donors to CSOs;
  • Created educational and informative resources for donation;
  • Increased confidence in the donating process with the citizens and companies.
