ON THE PROJECT SUPPORTED BY CIVICA MOBILITAS

Let us not forget the children from rural environments

BACKGROUND

In the past period, the children from the rural environment, because of the conditions imposed by COVID-19 have had difficulties in studying and their parents who do not have the financial possibilities have still been forced to hire teachers in order to help the children in the educational process. COVID-19 imposed a NEW NORMAL LIFE which is difficult for the children in the rural environments, especially the children of the Turkish ethnic community. Our idea is inspired by the general problems with the insufficient development of the educational, cultural and artistic engagement and activism with the young and children from the municipalities of Studenichani and Aerodrom; in this way, the children of these municipalities will work together on overcoming the obstacles that they will have during the educational process in conditions of COVID-19.

GOALS AND RESULTS

Goal: The goal of the project is to make the educational process of the children from the rural environment easier via a joint interaction with the children from the urban parts of the City of Skopje in conditions of COVID-19. By increasing the youth activism of the children of the Turkish ethnic community, their feeling of belonging to our society will be strengthened, as they will have to provide them with equal living opportunities as for the other ethnic communities in RSM. They will be given security and optimism and as future adult citizens of this society, they will contribute to the positive developments of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Objective:

Promoting the cooperation among the parents, teachers, students and experts in the area of education, creativity and health in the implementation of specific activities that would contribute to building healthy lifestyles with the children.
