Chinese Wisdom in the Radika Valley
The skills of handmade crafts, passed down from generation to generation for centuries, can still provide economic benefits in today’s living conditions. A perfect example of this is the women from the Rekan region. They use their talent and creativity to become financially independent and to feel socially productive. This video story captures the inexhaustible wealth and tradition nurtured by the women of Rekan, whose products are already recognized both nationally and internationally.
The story was produced as part of the project “Reporting on Civil Society and Its Impact on Social Change,” implemented by the Macedonian Institute for Media in partnership with the Center for Investigative Journalism – SKUP Macedonia, with financial support from the Civica Mobilitas program.
