Three educational workshops on the topic: “Gender Inequalities – Stereotypes, Prejudice and Discrimination”

In the period February – April, the second set of three educational workshops were held in the municipalities of Prilep, Krivogaštani and Dolneni, attended by a total of 47 participants. The topic of the workshops was “Stereotypes, Gender Stereotypes, Prejudice and Discrimination”, with a focus on recognizing these phenomena and their impact on individuals and the community.

The aim of the workshops was to encourage critical thinking about stereotypes as pre-created, simplified representations and beliefs about certain groups of people, which are most often not based on personal experience, but on general assumptions.

The participants were encouraged to question their own views, to recognize the difference between stereotype, prejudice and discrimination, and to see how these phenomena affect equality and human rights.
