Macedonia faces а galloping migration

Creation of regional migration profiles, strengthened monitoring of the institutions resulting in a final outcome of reports and recommendations which will impact the current situation, “lobbying” for changes in the educational system with an emphasis on dispersed studies, stimulation of youth work and informal education, segmented debate which will cover and address all weaknesses – these were some of the proposals which came out of the discussion  at the workshop titled “Together for action: migration potentials for Macedonia”, which was a part of the thematic forum of Civica Mobilitas, “Migration challenges, perspectives, and potentials”.

The workshop had the purpose of summarizing the conclusions of the panel at the thematic forum and providing recommendations about the way in which the civil sector could influence this area. The participants agreed that Macedonia was facing a galloping migration as a result of the dysfunctional system. The workshop and the forum were held on 5 July 2017 in Cifte Amam, Skopje.
