Info Sessions for the New Civica Mobilitas Partnership Grants Call Completed
At the end of September and beginning of October, the Civica Mobilitas team held three informative meetings dedicated to the new call for partnership grants (CM-PG-2).
The sessions, which took place in Tetovo, Strumica, and Skopje, gathered over 100 representatives from civil society organizations interested in applying for the call.
“Participants asked questions regarding their eligibility to apply. They were also interested in properly budgeting for salaries, operational and direct costs in the project proposals, and requested clarifications regarding the specific themes and areas that will be supported under this call,” said Jasmina Chaushovska from Civica Mobilitas.

The majority of each session was dedicated to discussion and responding to participants’ questions. These included inquiries about the application submission process, the completion of mandatory documents, the engagement of experts and collaborators, as well as whether the number of partners and geographical distribution of activities could affect the final evaluation.
After the info session in Tetovo, participants also attended a workshop focused on the Code of Conduct for Civil Society Organizations, led by Aleksandra Savevska and Fanija Ivanovska.
The workshop aimed to lay the foundation for a system to monitor the implementation of the Code by identifying a minimum set of standards and principles that will be tracked in a structured manner.
Aleksandra Savevska opened the workshop with an introduction to the Code, its core values, aspirational commitments, and the challenges related to its implementation, along with the idea of establishing a monitoring system. The practical part of the workshop was facilitated by Fanija Ivanovska, who guided participants through the process of identifying key standards and grouping them according to levels of compliance.

Each group reviewed three commitments from the Code and was tasked with identifying a maximum of five standards they considered most relevant. The group work resulted in a clear categorization of basic, moderate, and advanced standards that civil society organizations should aim to meet.
The general consensus among participants was that compliance should be built gradually—from meeting basic legal and formal obligations, through establishing accountability and participation systems, to reaching the level of an organization that can serve as a model for others.
In the coming period, a series of similar workshops is planned. These will use a participatory approach and active involvement of organizations to develop a monitoring system for the implementation of the Code. The goal is to establish a framework that ensures clear and applicable standards.

The info sessions in Strumica (September 23) and Tetovo (September 25) were held at the Europe House offices, while the final session took place on October 3 in Skopje, at the Civic Resource Center.
The call for partnership grants is open until October 15, 2025. All interested organizations that were unable to attend the info sessions can submit their questions in writing to helpdesk@civicamobilitas.mk no later than October 6, by 17:00. All questions and answers will be published three days before the call deadline.
