Analysis of regulatory framework for issuing a temporary stay permission and employment of foreign citizens – victims of trafficking in human beings in the Republic of Macedonia.
According the report of State Department in 2007, it is estimated that approximately 800.000 people were victims of trafficking in human beings from which number 80% were women. According the recent world’s surveys, trafficking in human beings is third biggest illegal business within the chain of organized crime right behind the trade with weapons and drugs. In the XI century in which freedom and democracy is spread worldwide, it is devastating and inacceptable moraly, that hundreds of children, women and men to be exploated, misused and slavered in the chain of trafficking in human beings. Therefore, the trafficking in human beings is one of the worse violations of human dignity.
